Awesome

This is really a great item, it has everything that you need and more, easy to install, just plug in, auto download the driver from the web, and start drawing.

Comfortable lightweight well designed tablet

Good drawing tablet, I like the layout and easy to access shortcut keys as well as the dial which definitely stands out compared to other drawing tablets. The pen is comfortable to use and it’s nice that it comes in a case. My only complaints would be that the pen nibs seem to wear down a lot faster than my previous tablet pen, they get a little rough and scratch the surface of the tablet sometimes if I’m not very careful with them.

Great tablet! Isn't instantly compatible to all listed software however

I love this tablet! Lightweight, quality construction, good sensitivity, and a ton of features. Well worth the price! I use it for some less common applications, such as Maya, Mudbox, and ZBrush for 3D sculpting, along with Substance Painter for model texturing. In all of these programs (with the exception of Mudbox, a software which isn't listed as supported) the tablet works amazingly! So much better than sculpting by mouse. Now in to a few complaints. My first one is the driver software. My settings seem to disappear sometimes, which can be annoying. Additionally the software just feels a bit "stiff" and clunky if that makes sense. However it works as intended and offers plenty of functionality. My other complaint is that this tablet doesn't really work with illustrator, even though it's listed under supported. This is an Adobe issue, not a driver issue, but it's still misleading to say it works. I'm pretty sure there are work arounds, but it works with photoshop, so it's more work than I'm willing to do. Ill just use PS.If you're looking for a quality tablet to start off with and aren't looking to hop on the wacom band wagon, this tablet is for you! More features than the same-priced wacom makes it a worthy competitor

Lightweight, USB-C, lots of buttons, great surface

Lightweight, USB-C, lots of buttons, great surface to paint on and drivers are easilly installed. I MUCH prefer this tablet to my other one I had before (from another brand) that costed me 3 times the price of this one.

All is good, but two things

The tablet works as intended, I just wish that their tilt function was improved on and there was an option to adjust the tilt sensitivity like in wacom. There's a night and day difference when coming from a Wacom Intuos pro to this tablet. I don't know the technicality of making pens and tablets, but this tilt needs to really be worked on. it's not good from my experience. On the other hand tho, there's a bigger space to work with compared to the Intuos pro small.

Highly Recommend

My package came with all the items described in the store listing. Pen, pen case and holder, nibs, adapters, cable, drawing glove, and, of course, the tablet itself. The tablet is pretty weighty, a nice kind of weight that can be attributed to the casing. The size of the tablet itself is big despite me getting the smaller version, which those with portability or desk space in mind may scrutinize. However, I think this can be offset by the very slim form the tablet takes. I definitely don't mind that the tablet is big, my bamboo was smaller which meant a smaller work area. The tablet has programmable buttons, which really should be standard for any drawing tablet. What is new and interesting to me, however, is the dial which can also be programmed to fit your dialable needs. Need to resize your brush? The dial is there for you. Need to zoom in and out? The dial can do that for you. Rotation? The dial has you covered. In addition, the top of the dial acts as a touchpad, like the ones you find on a laptop, so if you need to quickly switch to a mouse because the pen is too awkward for the task being performed, you have a touchpad for that. The pen has a brush handle shape to it, which artists will appreciate. It is battery-less, which I certainly appreciate, and comes with two buttons as stated in the store description; one button is for right-clicking (or whatever else you need it to be) and one button is for switching between pen and eraser, something that should work with any drawing program. The tilting function is something I had never experienced before this and I am still in the process of figuring out how I can use it so I will update this review as soon as I have a clearer grasp on tilt. Installation is easy as plugging it in and getting the right drivers for your computer. The package comes with instructions on how to find the drivers, including a scannable QR code for those that have a scanning app on their phone. And for those that are wondering, yes this tablet works on Android devices. One of the first things I did was to test this tablet on my phone for compatibility and I found that it worked! While I don't see myself doing too many projects on my phone, it is definitely a pro to be able to do doodles on a portable device like my phone. The only nitpick I have for the tablet can be attributed to having a new tablet or changing from Wacom to a competitor. The feeling of using the Deco Pro as opposed to my Bamboo was very notable and some users may feel growing pains from switching brands. However, the feeling is only apparent for the first day. After that, if you're still using it, chances are you don't notice a thing. I certainly didn't when I was working on my projects. All in all, I very much like this tablet and recommend it for both new and seasoned digital artists.

i needed this.

love this drawing tablet. i'm poor and an amateur artist. i was never able to afford a drawing tablet since ive only really thought that wacom was the only choice for a good drawing tablet. but they charge an arm and your first born just for the cheapest one they sell. very glad i was able to discover XP-PEN. i was delighted from the moment i opened the box. first of all, this "small" version is way bigger than i had imagined and very light. Second, it came with a what i thought was a cheesy 2 finger glove, but now i wont draw without it, that glove allows for long strokes with zero palm friction. more helpful than you think. Third, the pen itself is lovely. i feel like it is lighter than your standard number 2 pencil. it has a great pen case with 8 extra nibs and the pens button placement is perfect. close enough to my finger placement to find easily but just far enough away that im not hitting them on accident. Fourth, the precision of the on screen cursor is perfect. no jitter or lag, no off setting to the side or any of the garbage i hate. i know exactly where my brush stroke is going to be. Finally, set up is so easy. i just downloaded the drivers from XP-PEN, opened their little pen app, set the sensitivity and quick keys and done. this drawing tablet just works very well, with no headaches.if you love drawing or painting digitaly and dont have an endless supply of cash. this is the drawing tablet you should try to get. sure, i would love one of the more expensive screened drawing tablets, but when you add a screen the price goes up considerably. if you have the money, or absolutely need a screen on your drawing tablet. consider supporting XP-PEN and getting the artist 22 or something like it.

Me encanta!!

upgraded from a 10 year old wacom bamboo--not disappointed!!!

okay so I've had this for 3 months already and I LOVE IT SO MUCH.... this works really well with clip studio paint and I'm so happy i made the change to xp pen. the pressure and sensitivity is wonderful, it feels SO nice when the pen glides over the tablet, the feel of the tablet is sublime like a soft matte feel, and this is literally the best upgrade I've had since my 10 year old wacom bamboo tablet that I got when i was 12 LOL. best buy I've ever made !!! saved a lot too

Excellent tablet

I graduated from a Wacom bamboo to this recently, having used the last one for close to 10 years. Absolutely love it. Had a few issues setting it up, but support was excellent and fast (and spoke great English) and I got it going on the same day.I love the wheel and the inner mouse pad thing - they're a game changer for me. Being able to easily rotate the canvas is exactly what I needed (even though I didn't know I needed it before). I honestly don't use the buttons as there aren't enough to replace the keyboard, so it's easier to have my hand on the keyboard instead, but the rest is absolutely perfect. The pen has a great feel and a nice little stand. I use the tablet on a a stand so it's at an angle, but it's big enough to put on your lap between you and your desk if you want. Can't believe the price - this is a no-brainer and so much better than the competition. Highly recommend it

Great pen tablet, comparable to Wacom's Intuos Pro offerings

If you're like me and turned off by the ridiculous price of Wacom Intuos Pro pen tablets and cannot stand the cheap build quality of the entry level range of Wacom pen tablets, then this is the pen tablet for you.Pros:- Top notch build quality- Award-winning design (absolutely love the spinning dial)- Large active work area (compared to Wacom equivalent)- Pen is the same design/feel as the Wacom Pro Pen/2.Cons:- Software is not as clean as Wacom. The Mac software runs as an app, rather than as a service in the background.- Software takes up space in the dock. (if someone knows a way to hide it from the dock, let me know)- The touchpad in the spinning dial is a bit of a hit-and-miss. Especially with the taps.- Pen holder is not as convenient as the Wacom counterpart. You can only stand it up in the holder.
